A few years back I got really good at getting rid of these after they had been in the house for a few days. This one escaped.
I don't object to toys being a part of the Happy Meal. My kids have only ever asked to go to McD's for a toy when they were really into Beanie Babies. I don't think that government needs to legislate how restaurants market to their customers. If parents don't want to feed their children chicken nuggets and french fries, then just say "NO!" It's as simple as that.
